Akmal Tobgy

Chief Executive Officer

         Akmal has pioneered strategic planning and franchise development for the Health and Wellness industries and Medical tourism for over 20 years. He is the founder and managing director of Light Mandalas, a wellness technology R&D and manufacturing company in Chiang Mai, Thailand dedicated to developing tools that enhance life, health, and wellbeing. He is also the founder of Mandala Group, a wellness centre and Eco-Wellness resorts development company

         Akmal established himself as a global presence and influencer, acting as director, advisor, and technical consultant for world-class anti-aging and complimentary medical tourism destinations including the following:
          - Director and advisor at Pakua Integrative Medicine Clinic and Tao Garden Health Resort, Chiang Mai, Thailand
          - Bioenergetics Technology Consultant and Visiting Therapist, Chiva Som, Hua Hin, Thailand
          - Managing Director at Villa Medica China, Shanghai, China
          - VP Technology & Business Development, World Anti-Aging, Beijing, China
          -International Projects Director for the following brands: The Bodhi, Holistic Medical Centres, and Bangkok Mediplex in Bangkok, Thailand

        Akmal's visionary perspective has led him to establish The Bodhi International Company in Hong Kong, franchising, designing, and managing Health and Wellness, Stress Management, and Anti-Aging centers and resorts in Asia as well as Internationally. He is the co-founder of RomLight Company in Toronto, Canada featuring its patented energy savings technology.

        Akmal is also a practitioner of Electro-Acupuncture, Bioenergetics, clinical Biofeedback, and Psycho-Spiritual Integration. He has been a martial arts practitioner and teacher since the age of 11 practicing Judo, Kungfu, Tai Chi, Qigong, Taoist meditations, and applied ancient Asian healing arts. He spent 5 years living, studying, and researching with Taoist Masters in the Sechuan, Xi'an, and Wudang Mountains of China.

        As well as being a researcher and practitioner, Akmal also lectures and conducts international workshops, seminars, and retreats on the science and application of Bioenergetics, applied ancient Asian healing arts, stress management, and Psycho-Spiritual Integration

        While at the Complementary Medicine Centre at Tao Garden (the headquarters of the Universal Healing Tao in Chiang Mai, Thailand), Akmal has become a senior Universal Healing Tao teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience including 7 years there as a resident teacher, therapist, and director. He is also director of Universal Healing Tao of Egypt and former director of Universal Healing Tao Centre of Toronto, Canada

         Akmal has a Master of Arts degree in Interpersonal Communications from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from Ryerson Polytechnic University, Toronto, Canada.

Born: December 13, 1959 in the city of Bidnodem Yaniv, Penza region, The Russian Federation, married, has 2 children, 4 grandchildren.

Scientific and practical work:

  1. Management of production development and organization: 73 devices for medical rehabilitation, physiotherapy, balneology, 8 devices for cosmetology, prevention and recovery; 4 devices for cleaning and changing the structure of water.
  2. Guidance on the development of a program to preserve the health of children on the basis of educational institutions.
  3. Management of the development of the project for the creation of a specialized technopark "Medical Innovative Rehabilitation Technologies".
  4. Management of the development of a project to improve the quality of life of patients with socially significant diseases.
  5. The management of the development of the project of rehabilitation of persons suffered extreme situations (astronauts, liquidators of accidents, combatants)  on the basis of the useof low andintensive physiotherapy and microclimate therapy.
